Canvassing for Fort Pierce Special Election

Volunteer to canvass for the Ft Pierce special election.

I am sharing an opportunity from Florida 180, a grass roots organization that works year round to build voter participation. They work separately from campaigns to build a strong ground effort that helps in all elections. With the Ft Pierce special election (district 2) on Nov 4, they are mobilizing volunteers to canvass local neighborhoods.

Here’s where YOU can help. We are aiming to reach 4700 doors the weekend of Sept 27-just before Vote By Mail ballots come out. If you and/ or anyone in your circle of friends is willing to spend a few hours canvassing, please call Deb Groendal (see image below). All you need is a phone ( we will show you how to use the MiniVan app) and comfy shoes.

Bring a friend, get some exercise, and know that you are helping to build community. We’ve done it in other elections. It’s very rewarding and you meet some interesting people. See Info below.
